last min i was called to go to malacca with mummy and her colleagues cuz daddy couldnt make it and it was all paid for alr.
anw, im not complaing since it was shopping n eatting.:D




in a nutshell.

we went to a bee musuem, peranakan heritage trail, choczz, tan kim hock,

shopping at: jonker street night market! mahkota parade, pahlawan( latest n newest).
- got myself a top, jeans, slippers n the rubberband that looks like a telephone cord:)
- the rest of the money spent on FOOD N GOODIES!!

ate: chicken rice ball, portuguese fd, nonya fd n tian lai seafood at JB b4 going back to spore. fats!!!

and indeed my dear girl was pleasantly shocked!

pris and simren came to my place earlier planning to help prepare the food n wait for mel's arrival.
mel came at 12.55pm and till that point she didnt have a clue as the where or what we were doing.
another secret was that simren was there too!!
finally, FOURSOME comes together again for mellys 20th!

whilst mel was still at my gate, i didnt want her to see what was going on in the house.
so we all decided to wish her, give her her presents, n BLINDFOLD HER!!
she was really sporting, n a little scared too:)



dad allowed to me drive the car today so i was the chauffer of the day la:)
pris in charge of leading the way
sims in chare of taking care of mel.
poor mel was soooo afraid of falling into drains n dropping down a building whatsoever. hahah
ps: dun worry mel. we'll all take care of u la.

so in the car.....................

in the picnic basket there was: SUSHI, (mels faves are the big round orange eggs, n tamako yello eggs n salmon, i must make a mental note), salad with sliced carrots, green apples, romaine lettuce, cheery tomatoes and croutons with delicious Ranch dressing, Nacho cheesey cheese! sandwiches with tuna , egg mayo , as well as cocktail sausages.COKE was our drink! not forgeting "niccccc's speciality cheesecake!!"  topped with blackcurrents , yummy yum droools :D
-we remembered to bring candles, forks, plates n napkins , card games, polaroid, digicam n a mat :D
since i couldnt find my proper mats, i substituted it with a table cloth like mat. red n really retro imo.


honestly the night b4 i couldnt sleep at all cuz i was soo excited! yet worried if i forgetten or left out anything. but the day turned perfecto!

when we finally came to unveiling her towel, i blew the party blower things n it really shocked her!
that moment was classic but it was all too fast to capture the moment. nonetheless, we started singing her the happy birthday song n it was time for her to make a wish and blow out the magic relighting candles! hahahha. she couldnt blow it out >.<



i got those candles from some random shop at PS.:) the trick is actually to give it one fast blow n stop blowing alr. cuz it re-lights with oxygen, so if u keep blowing, it will keep relighting. hahahah

todays dress code was : anything floral :)
i thought that it was totally perfect for a party at botanic gardens. so apt:)


after which we got some passerby to help us take a polaroid picture!

After pigging out, it started to drizzle. so we hurriedly packed up and set back off to my home for some chilling, playing poses, n pure love.

and everyones too busy on a mon afternoon so he asked me and geri out for a movie!
we bought sushi and subway to sneak into the cinema! what i always do:):)

quite jia lat! it wasnt even very funny to me, what a let down from adam sandler.
the jokes were very much americanised, sexual n i didnt get half of it!
it was draggy!! its those kinda shows were into the 1st hour, ur thinking " when's it gonna end? when's it gonna end?"
n it lasted two and a half hours!!!

after the show we had to go our own ways....

miss p suppose to meet me but she decided to slp w.o even letting me noe so i wasted the whole evening waiting for her n shopping alone.
oh wells she apologised alr n ive forgiven her.

itd really help alot and they can make alternative plans n decisions.
its not so much about doing the activity planned together or not, but rather so the other party can make adjustments to plans instead of waiting like a fool right?

went home to nap for 20 mins b4 heading out again!

nic sam, my co-conspirator , and i planned a surprise for kristin's 20th at KAP macs!
decided to hold the party there because 2 yrs ago we were there in the play room which kris booked!
apparrently krist suspected smt was fishy alr la. hahaha. but im glad she still enjoyed.
most of the guys either couldnt come out from camp, were late or...
ya, n the only girls left in spore is me, sam and krist! minus D.

so the girl i've been sleeping in the same room with has gone off to marry mr tan. but at the same time im so happy for her. not because i get my own room now , with double wardrobe space and cupboard space n a bigger bed. but because i am truly happy that she has found herself such a GREAT MAN n family. all that preparation was definitely tiring but worth it!:)

waking up at 6.50 am in the morning and tahaning all the way till 2-3 am was no joke man...

so here's the days activities....

im my sister maid of honour!! sounds real chic doesnt it? it's actually just being her personal slave assistant for 24/7 .


this was my hair for the day, i scouted for a month for the purple accesories myself! was so painstaking. one was actually from a shop at suntec and the other was from F21, they are joined tgt if u cant see.

and i love the picture of the 3 of us in cheogsam:)

at about 9plus, Alph and his xiongdi's(brothers) came with the roasted pig and for some gatecrashing!!!

Waa alph was real witty to escape alot of shit, but still he had to do all the forfeits, his ang bao for the jie meis started so low!!! haha.
but all this was in the name of fun. in the end i think got around $288?? n im getting a share of it:)


they played many games and one of it was (SUAN TIAN KU LA) which means sour sweet bitter hot! in the form of drinks! god knows what they put in there!! ranging from wasabi to lemons, limes, vinegar and hot hot pepper!!! POOR THINGS.

Then alph had to create n compose a love song on the spot with given words like( char siew bao, siew mai, liposuction, nightingale and a whole list) super random and incoherent. and yea, he cant sing for nuts so he decided to do a rap!!! here's what i remember him saying.

" yo yo natalie. the love of my life,
your smile is so sweet like char siew bao.
if u eat too much siew mai u will need liposuction(but i'll pay for u )"
you r prettier than a nightingale. okay i cant really remember alr.

sweetest thing was the love contract he read at the door,
" thou shall wash all the dishes"
"thou shall take care of the baby when he or she cries at night"

then came the tea ceremony!


1st time in me life and jerome's, we had to kneel in front of jie and jiefu and say " HE CHA" Meaning , drink tea/ and we even got ang baos!! yayness:D

my dad has been playing the video recording in my home tv over n over again. FAINTS!!

On a sidenote: Mel has asked me to sing for her wedding!! hahahha. oh yes i will JUST FOR YOU BABY!!

back on track, my choir (HALMM) did a great job! their uplifting choral voices made such a difference:)


reception food was yummy yummiest marvellous!! apparently the caterer was CJS, im so gonna cater my food from there at my wedding. hahah! which is a long long way more!! they so generous with their portions n food taste spectacular, Mmmmmmm :)

the wedding cake was also duper chio, i love the deco n colour of those flowers , it was BUTTER CAKE with hell lots of icing, hand made n personalised by alphs cousin.. there's still somemore in my fridge right now and i think i'll be having some for teabreak when my QJG comes over later:) it's funny how me n him have become so close like real bro n sis, hehehe. im happy:)

the church wedding was a blast and the turn out was WHOAH!! so many ppl came that it felt like the crowd of a regular weekend mass!
food was good, choir was good, planning was magnicent, what more can i say???

ps: there's 1 sad thing i would like to add, but i think i will not cuz it will only make me sadder.

there wasnt even any time to rest b4 i helped jie at her bridal room, ppl were starting to arrive at reception alr.


the theme for the night was : written in the stars
and colour theme was just to be dazzling :)
the menu above was super shiok too!
its canto food cooked by award winning chef Li bai who even made it to the world gourmet summit :) impressive eh?
but truth be told and in every case, the food tasting session was so much better than that night.

i did a special item for the newly weds that night.:)

sang a duet with paddy, with jude nhimself as guitarist,
we sang way back into love which came from the show music and lyrics, by hugh grant and drewbarrymore.
before this i never really spoke to them, but working singing with them was actually quite comfortable.

OH i did a very impromptu thingy at the interlude which was discussed with paddy n jude last miin in the hotel room, which was to give a short little speech in the intermission of the song. haha. my mind went blank!! BUT! at the preformance itself, the words flowed so easily..
i said: "i have the best sister in the world, and the funniest bro in law ever!"
and the crowd WOOOOTS & AWWWWW<3


did i mention that my dad video recorded every single segment in this wedding except my performance??? hahah that man forgot the batteries and my bro had to run up to the room to take, but by the time he came down my song was over.
hahha. but the offical videographer did take this performance la.
good thing is: my dad wont be playing this over n over again at home.
bad thing is: HOW COULD HE FORGET??!!

anyway, something is wrong with my feet. there's one big lump there. feels like a bone! 3 weeks ago my big toe felt sharp pains. wanted to get x ray but i tot it felt better then i didnt. today i happen to look at my feet n i saw a big swell!!!!!! its gross! n its not soft, its hard. k. pls pray for me.


another unfortunate thing happend. my clothes cupboard bar dropped! cuz i think squeeze too many clothes then too heavy then cant take the wait and drop n now everythings a mess!!!! :( my sis doesnt want has no time to clear her her part of the cupboard so i caant put my clothes in hers which will be mine next time! arghs. pre-wed woes.


im also supposed to meet adam for lunch at retro cafe then catch danceflick at amkhub tmr.
